WESTARM Therapy & Nursing of Lower Burrell, PA, announces the hiring of William R. Jones, DPT, ATC, as a Staff Physical Therapist for their Lower Burrell facility and other outpatient clinics located in the Alle-Kiski Valley.
Dr. Jones earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University. As a certified Athletic Trainer, he has much interest and experience in the treatment of sports-related injuries, including concussions / head injuries and manual therapy. He is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
BPrior to starting with WESTARM, he worked as a traveling physical therapist with assignments in North Carolina and eastern Pennsylvania. He is a lifelong resident of Upper Burrell and continues to live in the area. He previously participated in competitive soccer and now enjoys long distance running and other outdoor activities.
WESTARM is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency that has been in business for over 28 years. They offer outpatient Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy at eight (8) facilities and Skilled Nursing homecare services in the same vicinities. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy for special needs students and athletic training for injured athletes.
