WESTARM Therapy & Nursing of Lower Burrell, PA, announces the hiring of Kelsey Cushey, DPT, as the Facility Director of their Kittanning center located in Armstrong County.
Kelsey’s professional interests focus on Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Vestibular / Balance Disorders. Her treatment protocol utilizes a manual therapy approach for all patient care. She has worked previously as an Outpatient Therapy Coordinator with a local provider treating orthopedic and pulmonary patients.
Dr. Cushey earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Science both from Slippery Rock University. She and her husband reside in Cowansville, Armstrong County, PA and are expecting their first child soon.
WESTARM is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency that has been in business for over 28 years. They offer outpatient Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy at eight (8) facilities and Skilled Nursing homecare services in the same vicinities. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy for special needs students and athletic training for injured athletes.
