Occupational Therapist Receives Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Designation

WESTARM Physical Therapy of New Kensington, PA, announces that Colby L. Neubauer, MOTR/L, CHT has recently obtained her Certification in Hand Therapy. To obtain this certification it was necessary for her to have five years of working experience, with 4000 hours working specifically in hand therapy, and then passing a very rigid national examination.

Ms. Neubauer treats patients at their Lower Burrell and Pittsburgh Mills facilities. She has extensive experience working with patients with upper extremity fractures, arthritis, lacerations, amputations, and surgical repairs of tendons and nerves. She is also available to see patients in their homes for WESTARM Homecare Nursing & Therapy.

Colby earned a Master of Science (MS) of Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Therapeutic Recreation from Slippery Rock University. Colby and her husband reside in Verona. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, volleyball, and weightlifting.
