Good Faith Estimate

When you get emergency care or get treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing.

WESTARM charges the same rates to all insurance and private payers, whether in-network or out-of-network. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the services provided within one business day of your first appointment. Please contact your insurance company for more information on covered services and out-of-pocket expenses, such as copays and deductibles, for therapy.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call us at 724-337-6522 x3.
