Pediatric Rehabilitation Program
Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists treat a variety of congenital and acquired disorders that affect the motor skills for children and adolescents.
We treat children and adolescents with the following diagnoses:
- Attention Deficit Disorders
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Birth Injuries
- Cerebral Palsy
- Developmental Delay
- Fine Motor Delay
- Genetic Conditions
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Upper Extremity Fractures / Sprains
- Visual Motor / Perceptual Disorders
Children should be referred for therapy if they exhibit any of the following characteristics:
- Physical disabilities or impairments
- Delay in achieving age appropriate developmental milestones
- Functional limitations related to fine or gross motor coordination
- Changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury or diseases
- Limited upper extremity strength or endurance
- Processing disorders that affect coordination, motor or functional skills
Our trained therapists will help each child reach his or her developmental milestones in a caring atmosphere, where each child’s case is handled with their individual goals in mind.
