Physical Therapy provider opens new outpatient facility in the Plum Community Center

WESTARM Physical Therapy & Homecare of Lower Burrell, PA is proud to announce the opening of their newest facility on Thursday, February 1st. It’s located in the Plum Community Center, 499 Center New Texas Road, Plum Borough, PA 15239 in Allegheny County.

Physical rehabilitation services will be provided by experienced and licensed physical therapist Tanisha Gorny, DPT and physical therapist assistant Gary McMahon, PTA. Therapy will be offered for orthopedic injuries and exercise management, along with neurological and balance disorders.

Brian Jacob, MHA, President, feels that this location is ideal to meet the increased needs of the growing local community and the existing elderly population. This site is easily accessible to many Plum residents because it is located along the regularly traveled Orange Belt and is next to the Plum Community Library and the Plum Senior High Rise. They look forward to working closely with members of the community center and offering programs that will be beneficial to the health of many residents of Plum Borough.

WESTARM Physical Therapy is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation agency that has been in business for over 34 years. They offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy at nine (9) outpatient facilities primarily within the Allegheny Valley area of Pittsburgh. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy for special-needs students and athletic training services for injured athletes.
