WESTARM Therapy & Nursing of Lower Burrell, PA, announces the hiring of Michael C. Lovgren, DPT, as a Staff Physical Therapist at their New Kensington facility and at their new Aquatic Facility in Vandergrift, PA, opening in the fall of 2012.
Mike’s professional interests focus on Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sports Injuries. He has been a certified personal trainer and belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). His treatment protocol utilizes an evidence-based approach with use of manual therapy techniques.
Dr. Lovgren earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Slippery Rock University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Business from Washington and Jefferson University. He currently resides in Springdale with his wife and young children. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, running, and weight lifting.
WESTARM is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency that has been in business for over 29 years. They offer outpatient Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy at eight (8) facilities and Skilled Nursing Home Health Care services in the same vaccinates. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy for special-needs students and athletic training for injured athletes.
